Privacy Policy & Data Handling

1. Data Collection

We collect your email address, billing information, and encrypted API keys strictly for the purpose of providing the Akmond Notify service.

2. Database Credential Encryption

Your external database passwords and third-party API keys are never stored in plain text. They are encrypted using an AES-256 cipher before being written to our database. Our team cannot view your raw passwords.

3. Message Processing

Akmond Notify acts as a one-way outgoing alert system. We read specific transaction columns from your mapped database and immediately push the data payload to your WhatsApp provider. We do not store historical logs of your VTU customers' phone numbers or transaction amounts longer than required to verify delivery.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared with our payment processors (Paystack/Monnify) to facilitate billing, and your designated API provider (e.g., Green-API) to deliver alerts.
